Contoh Soal Generic Structure and Language Features of MC Script - If you want to be an MC, do you usually make the script, or you say whatever you want to say without the help of a script? Do you just perform without planning what you are going to say? Do you think it is important to prepare the script beforehand? A script will help us a lot when we become an MC in an event.

There are some points that can be included in the body of an MC script:
a. Introducing the speaker(s).
- We shall begin with a talk by our honourable speaker, Professor Alan Dew, from Code University.
- Professor Alan Dew is an experienced lecturer and researcher in Code University who gives big attention to herbs.
b. Explaining the program in detail (the agenda/schedule).
- As you may be well aware, this meeting has been organized to talk about the development of our cooperation this year.
- Our seminar today is going to discuss the topic “Bad Effects of Cigarettes”. First, we are going to have …. Then, ….
c. Inviting the speaker(s).
- We are very honoured to have invited Mr. Lee Tan, from Jakarta to share his knowledge about planting.
- I’d like to call upon, Mr. Lee Tan to proceed to the stage, please.
d. Inviting the floor to put forward questions or comments.
