A narrative text does not only aim to entertain the readers, but also to convey the writer’s feelings and emotion in order that the readers can gain something from the story.

You often feel curious toward your friends’ interesting experiences, novels of your favorite writer, and your favorite movie series. It is some small parts of narrative.
As you can see, narrative is everywhere, and it surely has purposes. The basic purpose of narrative is to entertain and to gain readers’ interest. Narrative can also be used to teach, to inform, or to give social opinions.
