Factual report consists of two parts:
- General information: introduce the subject which is being described.
- Description: specific information and elaboration on the subject in detail.
Factual report has the following characteristics:
- It uses simple present tense since this kind of text presents facts of a subject.
- Uses relating verbs to describe feature of a subject. For instance: Cat is a small furry animal.
