Contoh Soal Asking and giving personal information - When you want to give questions about personal information, it is always in the Present Simple…so you have to follow the structure of the present simple tense.
Look at the following examples:

We have to be aware with some structural changes which are very common in English language. And as it has mentioned before, the Present Simple Tense is used. This is to show that the situation of asking and answering take place in current situation, at the present (now) time. So we have to follow the structure in grammar rules. Let’s see some examples below

Please notice that we use the auxiliary ‘do’ in the question forms this ‘do’ doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a helper of the verbs (come, live, attend). It is usually used in interrogative and negative forms.

When the subject is the 3rd person singular, pronouns are used such as: She, He, It. Names of people are also commonly used such as Sarah, Tom, David. Look at the examples below, and look carefully that different auxiliaries are used.

In the Present Simple Tense the verbs for the 3rd person subject in the sentences are changed. Ending of ‘s’, ‘es’ and ‘ies’ will be inserted at the end of the verb. Read the following guide:
