There are various adverbs of place however in this lesson we discuss adverbs of place in the context of recount text. It means they are closely related to situation where certain experience and event happened.
Adverbs of place have several functions in the sentences. They can indicate location, direction, and distance. In the use of directional status, some adverbs of place may contain preposition. Some of them may modify the main verbs and the others are used as preposition verbs.
